If you are interested in becoming a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) please contact Samantha Sipple (sipse@rhodes.edu). A CASA is a trained volunteer who advocates in juvenile court on behalf of abused and neglected children in front of a judge. Last year alone, more than 3,000 children entered the juvenile court justice system. Of those, nearly 700 were represented by a CASA volunteer. Volunteers work directly with the children and their families. Being a CASA, you will gain excellent experience in the legal and social work field.
***Volunteers must be 21 years of age.
