The Memphis Zoo is not only a place for families to go see wildlife from all over the world, it is also Memphis’ largest worldwide conservation organization. The Memphis Zoo helps to fund research projects all over the world as well as advocate the protection of animals and their habitats. You can read about these projects by visiting their website. Rhodes College is currently making great efforts to establish a better relationship between the college and the zoo in order to provide students with interesting and fulfilling volunteer opportunities.
